Smart Recovery System

Smart Recovery System is a web-based lost and found platform developed using PHP, PostgreSQL/PostGIS, JavaScript, and Leaflet. Users can report lost or found items by uploading photos, entering item details, and selecting the location on an interactive map. The system allows users to browse reports, request item recovery, exchange messages securely, and mark recovered items as "Returned Safely." The platform also integrates nearby public facilities such as Koban (police boxes), police stations, train stations, convenience stores, and public toilets to help users recover items more efficiently. Future development includes AI-based image matching, automatic item description generation, confidence scoring, and intelligent recovery suggestions to improve matching accuracy and user experience.
